Our Belifes and Views

Our ministry is firmly rooted in the authority of God's Word and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are committed to sound biblical doctrine, faithful discipleship, and the Great Commission. Every belief, decision, and ministry effort is measured by Scripture and carried out for the glory of God.

Statement Of Faith

The Authority of Scripture
 

We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and sufficient Word of God, serving as the final authority for all matters of faith, doctrine, and life. (2 Timothy 3:16–17; Psalm 119:160; 2 Peter 1:20–21)
 

The Triune God
 

We believe there is one true God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, equal in power, glory, and majesty. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14)
 

Jesus Christ
 

We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died as the atoning sacrifice for sinners, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will return in glory to judge the living and the dead. (John 1:1, 14; Isaiah 7:14; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Acts 1:9–11; Hebrews 4:15; Revelation 19:11–16)
 

Humanity and Sin
 

We believe humanity was created in the image of God but fell into sin through disobedience. As a result, all people inherit a sinful nature, commit sin by choice, are spiritually separated from God, and are completely dependent upon His grace for salvation. (Genesis 1:26–27; Genesis 3; Romans 3:10–23; Romans 5:12; Ephesians 2:1–3)
 

Salvation
 

We believe salvation is entirely the work of God's grace, accomplished through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ and received through faith. We believe God sovereignly initiates and accomplishes salvation from beginning to end, regenerating sinners by the Holy Spirit, justifying them through faith in Christ alone, adopting them into His family, sanctifying them throughout their lives, and preserving them until the end for His glory. (John 6:37–40, 44; Romans 8:29–30; Ephesians 2:8–10; Titus 3:5–7; Philippians 1:6; Romans 5:1)
 

The Holy Spirit
 

We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer, producing spiritual fruit, illuminating God's Word, empowering holy living, and equipping believers to faithfully serve Christ. (John 14:16–17, 26; Romans 8:9–11; Galatians 5:22–23; Acts 1:8)
 

Gifts of the Holy Spirit
 

We believe all the gifts of the Holy Spirit described in Scripture continue to operate today. These include wisdom, knowledge, faith, healing, miracles, prophecy, discernment of spirits, tongues, interpretation of tongues, teaching, exhortation, serving, giving, leadership, mercy, evangelism, shepherding, administration, and other biblical gifts. We affirm that gifts such as tongues, prophecy, healing, dreams, and visions have not ceased and are to be exercised under the authority of Scripture, with love, humility, order, and discernment, for the edification of the Church, the advancement of the Gospel, and always to glorify and point people to Jesus Christ. (Joel 2:28–29; Acts 2:17–18; Acts 2:38–39; 1 Corinthians 12–14; Romans 12:3–8; Ephesians 4:11–13; 1 Peter 4:10–11; 1 Thessalonians 5:19–21)
 

The Church
 

We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship God, proclaim the Gospel, make disciples, and faithfully shepherd believers through sound doctrine, loving fellowship, and servant leadership. (Matthew 16:18; Acts 2:42–47; Ephesians 4:11–16; 1 Timothy 3:15)
 

The Ordinances
 

We believe Jesus Christ established baptism and the Lord's Supper as ordinances for His Church. These are acts of obedience and public testimony that proclaim the Gospel and strengthen the faith of believers, though they do not impart saving grace. (Matthew 28:19–20; Luke 22:19–20; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26)
 

The Great Commission
 

We believe every follower of Christ is called to make disciples of all nations through evangelism, discipleship, biblical teaching, compassionate service, and the planting and strengthening of local churches. (Matthew 28:18–20; Mark 16:15; Acts 1:8; 2 Timothy 2:2)
 

Christian Living
 

We believe believers are called to pursue holiness, humility, integrity, and obedience, living lives transformed by the Gospel and devoted to the glory of God. (Romans 12:1–2; Galatians 5:22–25; Colossians 3:12–17; 1 Peter 1:15–16)
 

The Blessed Hope
 

We believe Jesus Christ will personally and visibly return to establish His everlasting kingdom, judge the living and the dead with perfect righteousness, and make all things new. (John 14:1–3; Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:16–18; Titus 2:13; Revelation 21:1–5)

 

Character & Conduct Expectations

We are not seeking missionaries who are highly skilled, experienced, or extraordinary. God often uses ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary things. We do, however, expect every missionary to live according to the biblical standards outlined below. No, you don't need to be perfect but willing. 

Our Calling
Missionaries are ambassadors of Jesus Christ and representatives of the ministry, local churches, and the Gospel wherever they serve. Every missionary is expected to conduct themselves in a manner worthy of Christ, pursuing holiness, humility, integrity, and servant-hearted leadership. This Code of Conduct establishes the biblical expectations for all missionaries serving with our organization. "Only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ." Philippians 1:27
 

1. Commitment to Christ
Our first loyalty is to Jesus Christ. Every missionary must pursue a growing relationship with Him through prayer, worship, Scripture, repentance, and obedience.

Missionaries are expected to:
 

• Maintain a consistent devotional life.
• Live by biblical convictions rather than personal preferences.
• Seek God's glory above personal recognition.
• Walk in humility, faithfulness, and dependence upon the Holy Spirit.
• Remain teachable and open to correction.
 

2. Commitment to Scripture
The Bible is our final authority for faith and practice.

Missionaries shall:
 

• Teach and represent Scripture accurately.
• Avoid twisting Scripture to support personal opinions or traditions.
• Exercise careful study before teaching publicly.
• Refrain from promoting doctrines contrary to biblical truth.
• Submit all ministry decisions to biblical principles.
 

3. Commitment to Holiness & Purity
Missionaries must pursue holiness in every area of life.
 

This includes purity in:
 

• Thoughts
• Speech
• Relationships
• Entertainment
• Digital activity
• Physical conduct
 

Missionaries shall abstain from:
 

• Sexual immorality.
• Pornography.
• Adultery.
• Fornication.
• Lewd joking or inappropriate conversations.
• Flirtatious behavior.
• Emotional affairs.
• Any romantic conduct outside God's design for marriage.

Missionaries must maintain appropriate boundaries with the opposite sex and avoid situations that could lead to temptation or the appearance of impropriety.
 

4. Commitment to Integrity
Integrity is essential both on and off the mission field.

Missionaries are expected to:

• Be truthful in all communication.
• Honor commitments.
• Protect confidential information.
• Represent finances honestly.
• Accurately represent their education, experience, and qualifications.
• Refuse manipulation, deception, or exaggeration in ministry reports.

Private character must match public ministry.
 

5. Commitment to Servanthood
Mission work is not about personal recognition but about serving Christ and others.

Missionaries shall:
 

• Serve with humility.
• Value every person regardless of social status.
• Work joyfully in visible and unseen tasks.
• Avoid seeking titles, recognition, or influence.
• Put the needs of the team ahead of personal preferences.
 

6. Commitment to Unity
Missionaries represent one body in Christ.

Missionaries shall:

• Avoid gossip and slander.
• Refuse divisive behavior.
• Resolve conflict biblically.
• Encourage fellow missionaries.
• Honor one another above themselves.
• Protect the unity of the team.

Disagreements should always be addressed respectfully through biblical reconciliation.
 

7. Commitment to Authority
Missionaries recognize that God establishes authority for protection, accountability, and order.

Missionaries agree to:
 

• Submit to ministry leadership.
• Respect local pastors and church leadership.
• Follow the chain of command.
• Cooperate with team leaders.
• Honor governing authorities whenever doing so does not require disobedience to God.

Questions and concerns should be communicated respectfully and privately through appropriate leadership.
 

8. Commitment to Excellence
Missionaries should pursue excellence in every assignment.

This includes:
 

• Being punctual.
• Preparing thoroughly.
• Following instructions.
• Completing responsibilities diligently.
• Maintaining a strong work ethic.
• Caring for ministry property and equipment.
• Being dependable and trustworthy.

Every task, whether preaching, construction, cleaning, cooking, or serving, should be done unto the Lord.
 

9. Commitment to Evangelism
Every missionary is expected to actively participate in the Great Commission.

Missionaries shall:

• Boldly proclaim the Gospel.
• Show compassion to the lost.
• Respect every individual regardless of background.
• Never manipulate emotional decisions.
• Present the Gospel with truth, love, and biblical clarity.
• Depend upon the Holy Spirit rather than human methods.
 

10. Commitment to Personal Conduct
Missionaries represent Christ at all times.

Whether at church, during travel, in restaurants, place of stay, airports, construction sites, public events, or online, missionaries should conduct themselves with wisdom, respect, and maturity.

Profanity, crude humor, inappropriate behavior, angry outbursts, Under substance influence or disorderly conduct are unacceptable.
 

11. Commitment to Social Media
Everything shared publicly reflects upon Christ and the ministry.

Missionaries agree to:
 

• Exercise wisdom before posting.
• Avoid divisive arguments.
• Avoid crude humor or offensive content.
• Protect confidential ministry information.
• Refrain from posting content that dishonors Christ or damages the ministry's testimony.
 

12. Commitment to Financial Stewardship
Missionaries must faithfully steward every resource entrusted to them.

Missionaries shall:
 

• Use ministry funds responsibly.
• Avoid wasteful spending.
• Keep receipts when requested.
• Never misuse donations.
• Never pressure individuals to give financially.
• Demonstrate contentment and gratitude.
 

13. Commitment to Safety & Wisdom
Missionaries shall exercise sound judgment while serving.

This includes:
 

• Following safety procedures.
• Respecting local laws.
• Respecting cultural customs that do not contradict Scripture.
• Protecting children and vulnerable individuals.
• Immediately notify your leader accidents, abuse, misconduct, or criminal activity.

Wisdom should guide every ministry decision.
 

14. Commitment to Team Life
Mission trips require sacrifice and flexibility.

Missionaries agree to:

• Maintain a positive attitude.
• Be adaptable.
• Accept assignments cheerfully.
• Help wherever needed.
• Encourage fellow team members.
• Avoid nagging, entitlement, or unnecessary conflict.
 

15. Commitment to Accountability
Missionaries willingly submit to biblical accountability.
 

This includes:
 

• Receiving correction with humility.
• Confessing sin when necessary.
• Seeking restoration when failures occur.
• Being honest with leadership.
• Maintaining teachable hearts.

Persistent, unrepentant sin or conduct that damages the testimony of Christ may result in removal from ministry responsibilities.
 

Missionary Commitment
 

By serving with Mission & Discipleship, every missionary affirms a commitment to live according to biblical standards in both public and private life. Missionaries acknowledge that they represent Jesus Christ, their local church, fellow missionaries, and this ministry wherever they serve. They willingly submit to biblical authority, pursue holiness, protect unity, serve with humility, and strive to glorify God in every word, attitude, and action. Ministry is recognized as a privilege rather than a right, and every missionary commits to faithfully carrying out the Great Commission with integrity, compassion, excellence, and unwavering devotion to Christ.
