Evangelism Ministry-Homelessness & Drug Abuse
Our ministry in Vancouver, BC, Canada has been a frontline response to the growing crisis of homelessness, drug addiction, and spiritual darkness gripping the streets. Since 2010, this ministry has sought to be a light in the darkest corners of the city. We walk among those suffering: individuals with purple, frostbitten hands, open infections, bruises, and deep brokenness — many laying on sidewalks, some appearing to be near death. Through prayer, personal outreach, and Gospel-centered compassion, we’ve witnessed moments of deliverance, healing, and hope. All of this has been made possible through sacrificial effort — paying out of pocket, gathering food donations, and collecting clothing from those willing to help. We’ve fed between 500–1,100 people, offered counseling, and prayed with anyone willing to receive the love of Christ. This is not just outreach — it is spiritual warfare. Yet we continue because we believe in the power of Christ’s love to reach even the most desperate soul. We do this not for recognition, but for the cause of the Gospel — to let every person know they are seen, loved, and never beyond the reach of God's grace.

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS
A large group of youth continued serving in the evangelism ministry. During this trip, we observed even more ministers faithfully serving the people of East Hastings. We were able to provide food to hundreds of people, and through worship we reached many individuals as they passed by. While many listened with curiosity, others responded with hostility. It was evident that there was a spiritual battle taking place, even though we were simply worshiping God and minding our own business.
On one occasion, a woman approached me and showed me medical papers indicating that she had cancer and was dying. I directed the team to begin singing Amazing Grace. As she started walking away, she suddenly stopped, turned around, and slowly walked back toward us. I already had my arm extended toward her in prayer. As she came near, I placed my hand on her head and prayed for her. She then collapsed to the ground and began manifesting in a way that appeared similar to a seizure. Although she remained unconscious for about a minute, our team continued praying over her.
When she regained consciousness, she thanked us and said, "I feel a lot lighter." The following day, a sister in Christ who had ministered with us shared that she had received a vision. She told us that she saw a woman carrying demonic spirits come to us for prayer. I asked if she was referring to the same woman, and she confirmed that she was. She explained that in the vision she saw the woman heavily oppressed and watched as we prayed for her. When I asked whether the spirits had left, she said that she saw they had.
This became one of the most powerful testimonies from the trip. It served as a reminder that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of darkness, and that God is faithful to work through His people as they minister in His name.

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS
This was another event around 2013 in Vancouver, BC. We made it to the Canadian border but had to go through proper searches, checks, and validation through customs and border security. After verification, the officers showed much respect and gratitude for serving their country.
The volunteers, as part of the mission, helped put together meals packed in brown bags. We had different teams assigned to different tasks. A few of the teams preferred to do one-on-one work with individuals they encountered. Another team stayed back for the worship ministry. We had two guest speakers who preached the Gospel. Many souls were prayed for, spoken to, and fed that day.

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS
Our mission trip to East Hastings on Main Street in Vancouver, B.C., focused on reaching individuals facing difficult life circumstances, including drug addiction, hopelessness, confusion, spiritual oppression, and those suffering through withdrawals. We encountered many heartbreaking situations, including young people as young as 17 who were living a hidden lifestyle while struggling with addiction. Before the trip, our team spent dedicated time in prayer, trusting God to work in the lives of the people we would meet.
The outreach focused on group evangelism, meaningful conversations, prayer, and meeting practical needs. During the mission, we witnessed several individuals give their lives to Christ, some experience freedom from spiritual oppression, and approximately 100–150 people received bags filled with food and snacks.
The mission also deeply impacted our team, especially the youth, helping them grow in unity, become more confident in their calling, appreciate their families and blessings, and develop a greater understanding of their spiritual gifts and purpose in ministry.
